Wakefern Food Corp. is expanding a key department within its company with its announcement that Nazesh Cattelona has been made the new Director of Diversity and Inclusion. Having a multitude of leadership and human resources experience under her belt, Cattelona will bring exponential value to the cooperative.
Before joining Wakefern, Cattelona served as Director of Human Resources at Guitar Center where she worked to create a team responsible for inclusive work culture and helping to build engagement strategies that could enhance growth. According to a press release, prior to her position at Guitar Center, Cattelona held roles at Target for over 10 years including Human Resources Director, Greater Philadelphia and Baltimore area.
Cattelona holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the Rutgers University School of Management and Labor Relations, and has a minor in Psychology.

In this newly designed role, Cattelona will report directly to Gasaway, serving as a crucial member of the Wakefern Human Resources leadership team. She will work across the company to help create more diversity and strengthen inclusion practices. As a leader in this division, Cattelona will help maintain Wakefern’s ongoing commitment to a diverse workforce.
