Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) is helping its industry members reach their full potential and maximize their trade show return on investment with its newest workshop. At the next hybrid meeting of WCMA's Export Workgroup on Thursday, October 26, all dairy processors and industry suppliers, regardless of their WCMA membership status, are invited to join in person at WCMA's offices in Madison, Wisconsin, or online.
“WCMA is pleased to support dairy processors’ efforts to make the most of global sales opportunities, and strengthen the U.S. dairy industry,” said WCMA Grants and Business Programs Director Danica Nilsestuen. “We know that effective preparation and follow-up are essential to successful trade show participation, and in October, we’ll offer insights on how processors can target international buyers and maximize their success in overseas markets.”
The WCMA Export Workgroup meeting agenda features a who’s who of dairy export experts, with Stephen Cain of the U.S. Dairy Export Council kicking things off with a look at trends and forecasts.
Dan Durand of Hidalgo Global will share information on how dairy processors can determine their target markets and the best foreign trade shows to attend, continued the release, while Paul Sorenson of Food Export Midwest and Katie Ujdak of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation offer resources to support your trade show impact.
Later, Sartori Cheese and MCT Dairies will offer their tips for an effective trade show experience, before joining in a panel discussion with representatives from Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection’s International Agribusiness Center on the same topic.
All presenters will field audience questions during the workshop, and in-person attendees will also enjoy a networking luncheon.
