Crumbs Bake Shop is welcoming Edward Slezak as its new interim CEO after Julian Geiger announced he will not extend his employment agreement. Geiger will continue to serve on the Board of Directors after his agreement ends on December 31st. Slezak joined the company in August 2013 and currently serves as Senior Vice President and General Counsel and Secretary. He will retain his duties as General Counsel and Secretary as he assumes his role as CEO. Geiger states, “I have worked closely with Ed for almost ten years, and I have great confidence that he has the leadership skills and business acumen to direct Crumbs as it navigates its way into the future.”
