DCI Cheese Company is announcing the new contest “King or Queen for a Day.” One Grand Prize winner will receive a $500 SpaFinder.com gift card. The contest is sponsored by King’s Choice; the company’s line of imported Danish and Dutch cheeses. Consumers can enter via in-store shelf talkers with tear pads in participating retailers from September 1st through October 31st. Participants can also sign up with smartphones through www.KingsChoiceCheese.com, which they can access through QR codes on promotional displays. Katie Jury, DCI’s Marketing Manager says quote, “With this promotion we further extend this decadence to one lucky consumer, treating them to a day at the spa of their choice where they can relax and unwind like royalty.”
Litehouse® Foods is continuing to promote the recent launch of its hand crafted cheeses into the retail deli. The program includes artisan blue cheese, gorgonzola, and feta. The new items are available in wedges, wheels, crumbles and a unique center cut of the blue cheese. Stacey Miller, Business Development Manager, states, “What makes the Litehouse® Artisan Deli Cheese line unique is the quality and taste of the cheese, coupled with the unique packaging...There are a lot of great cheeses out there, and a lot of not so great cheeses. We needed to educate consumers on our high quality, and to have a point of difference to stand out."
