Pata Negra's Imperial Chorizo


Pata Negra is delivering a truly authentic chorizo experience with its line of Spanish style pork sausages, called Imperial. Crafted by Dr. Antonio Libran, 30-year veteran chorizo-maker and expert, these products are made using ancient recipes and expertise derived from the Spanish region of Extremadura.The company is featuring its Imperial Chorizo in three varieties: Hot, Mild, and Blanco. All are available in 16, 11, and 8-ounce chubs with pre-sliced product available soon. Imperial’s hot and mild chorizo is made with Spain’s coveted paprika, Pimentón de la Vera, which gives the chorizo its red color and distinct flavor. Ignacio Saez de Ibarra, General Manager, tells DeliMarket TV, “We naturally air-cure our chorizo according to a traditional long curing process which allows all the flavors to blend and the chorizo to develop its signature tangy flavor, color, aroma and perfect texture.”
