Piller’s Fine Foods will now offer the Piller’s Simply Free line of deli meats that feature natural ingredients and are free of gluten and other major allergens. With food allergies on the rise in North America, the company believes the line couldn’t have come at a better time. Rita Weigel (why-gull), Director of Marketing, states, “Consumers are looking for simple food products that meet the dietary needs of the whole family, especially foods that are less processed, more natural, contain real ingredients, and are great tasting.” The entire line is now available in grocery stores across the country. Sartori Company is unveiling its new Limited Edition Peppermint BellaVitano (Bella-vee-tano) cheese to specialty U.S. retailers this October. The unique artisan cheese is created by hand-rubbing aged BellaVitano Gold cheese into crushed peppermint candy. The cheese features a light sweet taste, crumbly texture, and vibrant pink hue. Sartori will donate a portion of the pink cheese’s proceeds to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Company leader, Jim Sartori, states, “We are amazed at how many retail partners have come forward to help bring this whole program to life.”
