Schnucks, Artisanal Brands Inc.


Schnucks and Sartori cheese are teaming up for a good cause. The duo will showcase the award-winning Sartori Limited Edition Pastorale Blend at 21 Schnucks locations from October 1st through January 1st and host a fundraiser benefiting the Make-A-Wish Missouri and Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. Schnucks Cheese Category Manager, Derick Roskinsky describes Sartori’s newest offering, stating “The sweet and nutty taste of the pastorale blend also has a Spanish influence. Its intriguing taste can be enjoyed by everyone from the tentative taster to the connoisseur.” Each of the participating locations will donate $1 per pound of Pastorale cheese and the Sartori’s have pledged to match those funds up to $4,000 dollars. Artisanal Brands, Inc., is working on a cheese pairing program with 92 Hyatt Hotels.Together, the companies have created the program with select wines and beers being offered by Hyatt. President and CEO, Daniel Dowe, states, “We are very pleased to be working with Hyatt on this pairing program. Consumers have told us that an intimidating aspect of enjoying quality cheese is how to pair it with the appropriate beverage. With our roots in fine dining and our pairing expertise, Artisanal offers a full service approach that allows our partners to seamlessly introduce our branded cheeses to their customers.”
