The Specialty Food Association has named five food retailers as the Outstanding Retailers of 2013. The five were recognized for outstanding customer service, product sourcing, merchandising, and a commitment to serving the local community. Awards will be presented on July 1st at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York. The winners are feast! , Lazy Acres Market, Oliver’s Market, Shady Maple Farm Market, and Sweet Grass Dairy Cheese Shop. Ann Daw, President of the Specialty Food Association, said, “These retailers share a passion that goes beyond presenting good food. They are educators, caring neighbors, and champions of food makers who are creating the best in specialty food.”
