Subway recently debuted its New Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread, and I am living. If you can get through this article without drooling at least once, you’re a stronger person than I. The Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread features a garlic butter spread made with real butter, roasted garlic, and melted parmesan and shredded mozzarella cheese. I’m sorry, but I would eat fifty pieces of this in a row, no questions asked.
The bread, however, is intended for sandwich use—not mass consumption by one Miss Andrea Allen. Now through February 27, sandwich lovers can unite under their one true god, Garlic, and order the Ultimate Marinara Sandwich and the Ultimate Spicy Italian between garlic cheesy bread.
“When people first hear about the New Ultimate Cheesy Garlic, they usually tell us we had them at hello,” said Len Van Popering, Vice President of Global Brand and Innovation, in a press release. “Pairing two of our most iconic sandwiches with arguably the most delicious cheesy garlic bread ever served delivers a flavor experience unlike anything in our market today.”
Arguably the most delicious? A tall order, Subway, but one I am willing to make. Be on the lookout for a redhead obsessed with garlic in a Subway near you; I may or may not be stockpiling sandwiches for the winter.
