Introducing a new first-of-its-kind store, Hy-Vee opened shop for its small-store format banner, HealthMarket, in West De Moines, Iowa. Sitting on about 15,700-square-feet of space, the stores feature over 11,000 items with a focus on fresh and high-quality meat, seafood, dairy, and produce, as well as frozen food items.
“We can’t wait for Hy-Vee customers to experience this new store concept, which offers products and services to meet all of their health and wellness needs,” said Matt Pertzborn, Store Director at the new Hy-Vee HealthMarket, in a press release. “Shopping for healthy lifestyle and personal care items while picking up your groceries has never been easier.”
The new store, located at 375 South Jordan Creek Parkway, opened to the public on Tuesday, July 31st. To celebrate, the first 500 shoppers received complementary goodie bags with items stocked throughout the store, according to a press release.
The location additionally hosts a number of health-focused services and other amenities, including a pharmacy, health clinic, hearing aid center, sports nutrition area, and Aisles Online Pickup.
The store will also feature a hydration station, where customers can enjoy coffe, kombucha, and Bevi infused waters; a 3,000-square-foot Orangetheory Fitness center; and Basin brand natural bath and body products.
