Flowers are not the only thing growing this season. Sprouts Farmers Market is sprouting some new stores this coming third quarter—13 stores over the course of the quarter, to be exact. This includes Pennsylvania and Washington’s first stores, as well as added locations to Florida, Maryland, and North Carolina.
“As we continue to enter new markets, we’re pleased with the customer response to Sprouts’ unique combination of health and value,” said Chief Development Officer Ted Frumkin. “We’re looking forward to bringing healthy living for less to new neighbors in Philadelphia and the Mill Creek area of Seattle later this year.”
While news of the opening dates and hiring details has not been announced, the new locations have. The list of new Sprouts locations includes the following:
The first half of the year will have a grand total of 16 Sprouts stores making their debut, with another first location popping up in South Carolina. By the end of 2018, Sprouts will have made its way into the hearts and neighborhoods in 19 states. The locations will offer 140 new career opportunities to the communities in which they will reside, the company noted in a recent press release. Further, the company will continue to accelerate investments in team members, including enhanced pay, benefits, leadership development, and recognition.
