Despite the bankruptcy and store foreclosures, Winn-Dixie is initiating its comeback and tackling home delivery as a means for revival. This week, the company announced that it will take a tip from Target, who has fared surprisingly well in the current, mercurial retail climate, and offer same-day delivery through Shipt, which Target acquired in December of 2017.
Starting April 3rd, Florida Today reported shoppers now have the ability to receive items from Winn-Dixie stores directly to their doorsteps. While Shipt requires a $99 annual membership fee, which includes unlimited delivery on orders over $35, Winn-Dixie is enticing consumers with a free two-week trial and $15 off their first order.
To use Shipt, members can download the app, pursue and select products. Orders arrive in a timely manner via Shipt shoppers.
