I’m only slightly exaggerating when I say I could eat an entire box—or four—of Rustic Bakery’s Olive Oil and Sea Salt Flatbread Crackers. So it was my utter delight to speak to Scott Frank, Vice President of Sales, to learn more about the company’s upcoming programs and how Rustic Bakery stands apart from its competitors.
“We are focusing on growing our Artisan Crisps line, as well as our shortbread cookie line, which includes 4 oz retail boxes and our single-serve cookies,” Scott said. “Both have had a redesign of packaging and recipes in the last year.”
A shortbread cookie line, you say? Featuring options like Pecan, Vanilla Bean, and Cacao Nib, it may be impossible for me—and fellow consumers—not to gobble them all up in one sitting. Luckily for us, that single-serve option is perfect for those who struggle with eating only one cookie at a time.
With a variety of products at its back, Rustic Bakery is a standout in the grocery aisle and gives consumers more than enough reasons to start snacking, but Scott shared one more with me.
“We are the only sourdough flatbread/cracker on the market that is also organic and Non-GMO Verified,” he told me.
In addition to promoting its shortbread line, Scott teased that Rustic Bakery will also be launching a new snack-pack line-up this year, a new summer line of cookies, and a new flavor for the classic flatbreads.
