If there’s anything that can bring people together, it’s the delicious, savory taste of a well-made hot dog. Inspiring consumers to create moments of connection over its alluring products, Smithfield’s New York-based hot dog brand Nathan's Famous® has tapped pop-culture icon Andy Cohen to star in its Get Along Famously Stranger Stand campaign.
"At Nathan's, we strive to provide a unique taste experience with our original 105-year-old recipe that can bring together individuals from all walks of life, no matter what age, where they live, or who they are, and turn strangers into friends," said Brand Manager Bethany Gurecki. "There's no denying that Andy Cohen also knows a thing or two about bringing people together—including feuding A-listers—which is why he was the perfect fit for our Get Along Famously Stranger Stand video campaign."
The campaign features a series of eight short videos that showcase how the unique and dynamic taste of Nathan’s Famous 100 percent Beef Franks can be a catalyst for genuine moments of connection and bring people together, according to a company release. In the exciting episodes, Cohen takes to the streets of a residential neighborhood to set up a Nathan's Famous hot dog stand, encountering a variety of strangers passing by. Through a combination of his expert connection skills and the delicious flavor of Nathan's Famous Franks, Cohen helps these strangers reach an understanding and thus "get along famously"—even with the kids who strategically set up a lemonade stand next door.
