Another exclusive video has landed here on the pages of Deli Market News, this time courtesy of BelGioioso Cheese. After collecting experience with the company since she was just a year old, Sofia Auricchio Krans recently gave us an exclusive look at the brand’s evolving portfolio.

Sofia Auricchio Krans, Project Manager, BelGioioso“Provolone is the beginning of where we started,” Sofia reflected. “When we came in 1979, that was the first cheese produced, and now we offer a whole variety and a spectrum of provolone, from fresh provolone to mild, medium, sharp, and extra sharp, aged 24 months.”

In addition to its provolone offerings, BelGioioso also has impressive prowess in the fresh mozzarella space.

“Fresh mozzarella is a wonderful category for us, and what's unique to it is that we've actually introduced a fresh mozzarella for baking, so it has slightly lower moisture,” Sofia explained. “Fantastic for your baked pastas, your pizzas, [or] anything that goes in the oven.”

BelGioioso began producing provolone in 1979, and has since expanded its portfolio to include a robust lineup of provolone, mozzarella, and blues

Rounding out this impressive lineup is the brand’s selection of “beautiful blues,” as Sofia noted.

“BelGioioso is really excited about our blues—we call them our beautiful blues,” Sofia shared. “We've got the whole beautiful blue spectrum, much like the provolone. So we have 30 varieties of cheeses and [are] giving people a variety of choices for what they're looking for in Italian style cheese made here in the U.S.”

More information on this beloved lineup can be found in our exclusive video above!
