Burlap & Barrel Expands to The Fresh Market and Metropolitan Market; Morgan Nida and Frank Schuck Comment

Two key banners are welcoming an eye-catching offering to spice things up. Burlap & Barrel, a single-origin spice company working with expert farmers in more than 20 countries, announced its offerings have been picked up by two more retailers, The Fresh Market and Metropolitan Market.

Starting February of 2024, The Fresh Market will carry a core lineup of Burlap & Barrel’s top-selling single origin spices at 161 stores, according to a press release.

The Fresh Market's Burlap offering will range from Massachusetts to Florida, west to Oklahoma, and north to Illinois with offerings like Royal Cinnamon; Black Lime; Black Urfa Chili; Purple Stripe Garlic; Sun-Dried Tomato Powder; Smoked Pimentón; Paprika; Wild Mountain Cumin.

Metropolitan Market will stock more than 60 individual spices altogether, offering an array of Burlap & Barrel’s top-selling single origin spices.
