Butterball Partners With Shipt for Thanksgiving Promotion

Target-owned Shipt has quickly become a formidable competitor in the grocery delivery sector. This category prowess will prove extremely valuable to Butterball this Thanksgiving as the two have partnered up to bring premium turkey to time-crunched consumers. A Shipt survey recently revealed that one out of every four Americans expects to plan and prepare their first holiday meal this Thanksgiving, with 60 percent also indicating that COVID had shifted their holiday plans. With this in mind, Butterball and Shipt are aiming to bring a superior option to their consumers.

According to a press release, the study also indicated that now, more than ever, consumers are looking for contactless shopping options, with 83 percent of survey respondents indicating it's important to them this season.

Butterball has partnered with Shipt to bring its premium turkey to time-crunched consumers this ThanksgivingThrough this alliance, Shipt customers can purchase Butterball turkeys at more than 100 national, regional, and local retailers across the country. The company's app gives customers the ability to add personal requests for their shoppers, including asking for just the right size of turkey. Additionally, Shipt is providing the shoppers with information about how to access the Turkey Talk-Line so they are ready to help customers.
