Welcome to this edition of Shop Talk. On this episode Sid Cook, President and Owner, Carr Valley Cheese joins DeliMarket.TV to share a bit of the company’s history. The family business began in 1883 and Mr. Cook is currently the 4th generation working at Carr Valley Cheese, with 44 years old experience. Mr. Carr says he bought the plant from his father at the age of 22 and now is a master cheese maker, running four cheese plants and eight retail stores. The company makes about 80 different cheeses and works with sheep, goat and cow milk. The company prides itself on winning 475 national and international awards over the past 12 years.
