Director of Operations Chauncey Behm recently took some time to highlight the brand’s key differentiating factors while turning the spotlight on some of its newest product developments.
“We're focused on differentiating ourselves,” Chauncey explained in the video featured above. “We've got some new flavors that make us unique. Some Raspberry Chipotle, Maple Bacon, and Italian Truffle, for example. The competition is pretty standard flavors. We have 24 of them, trying to take that charcuterie board concept and put it into a cup.”
One of the many ways Pine River stands out in the market is its commitment to partnership and willingness to push the envelope of creativity, Chauncey noted. The brand aligns with private-label companies, taking their award-winning cheeses and putting them in a cup to make them spreadable.
“The benefit for us is we made a bunch of operational efficiency improvements, so we have a lot of capacity. [We’re also] trying to push it to some more foodservice and trying to get people to realize that it's not just a chip or a cracker in a cup, that it can be used across the board as any sort of food ingredient.”
