With a whirlwind show wrapping up, Summer Fancy Food Show (SFFS) was one for the books. Many companies took to the proverbial stage to highlight their products, and one such company made sure to put its award-winning line front and center. For its first SFFS, Cowgirl Creamery brought a series of bloomy rind cheeses to impress suppliers and buyers alike.
These included Mt Tam; the slightly pungent Red Hawk; Devil’s Gulch, which comes encrusted in chili flakes; and the field flower and herb-covered Pierce Pt. According to a release, Cowgirl Creamery also sampled its two washed rind and aged cheeses, Wagon Wheel and Hop Along.
Cowgirl Creamery is a staple of Marin County. Located just north of San Francisco, the operation has been making strides in the domestic cheese arena for 25 years. The company continues to evolve but maintains its founding ideals of cultivating goodness in cheese, land, and community.
These values of environmental stewardship and quality craftsmanship are reflected in the use of milk from nearby family-owned and operated dairies committed to sustainable and regenerative agriculture. Delicious cheese, according to Cowgirl Creamery, is made thoughtfully and with great care.
Cheers to 25 years in the biz! We know great things are ahead.
