Cypress Grove’s acclaimed goat cheese line has already captured the hearts–and wallets–of many shoppers. Now, the supplier is back to wow even more people with its beloved offerings, showcasing several new additions to the lineup at the Summer Fancy Food Show (SFFS) this year. The company will be highlighting its Little Giant and Meyer Lemon and Honey fresh goat cheese disk, as well as the sofi™ Award winner Fog Lights and California State Fair gold medalist Hatch Chile fresh goat cheese disk.
Little Giant, a bright and fudgy goat cheese with a downy-white, edible rind, was released in February 2021 and makes its SFFS debut this June. Made available in summer 2022, Meyer Lemon and Honey 4 oz fresh goat cheese disk features floral Meyer lemon slightly sweetened with delicate alfalfa honey mixed into the supplier’s fresh goat cheese, as noted in a press release.
Fog Lights is the newest addition to the Humboldt Fog family of cheeses and was recognized with the New Product sofi Award in the Cheese, Non-Cow Milk / Mixed Milk category in 2021. Also taking the spotlight at the cheesemaker’s upcoming showcase is the Hatch Chile 4 oz disk, which combines the tangy brightness of fresh goat cheese with the mild spice and buttery texture of flame-roasted Hatch green chilis.
