Welcome to Shop Talk! On this episode, Kathy Guidi, Dairy Farmers of Canada, joins DeliMarketTV to discuss the Pure Canadian Cheese Program. At this year's ACS event Ms. Guidi presented us with two cheeses from Ontario and two cheeses from Quebec. The cheeses are a broad base of cow milk cheeses. What is unique about Canadian milk is that there is no BST. The farms are small which means that the cheese maker and the farmer interact what the cows eat for their well being. The organization offers a variety of cheeses from clothbound cheddar, firm cheeses, bleu cheeses; almost any kind of cheese that someone might want. They are encouraging retailers and consumers to ask for Canadian cheese. Dairy Farmers of Canada
