While New York, Milan, Paris, and London boast some of the biggest fashion weeks in the world, San Francisco is one of the deli, dairy, bakery, and specialty food industry’s biggest runways all thanks to the Winter Fancy Food Show (WFFS). This year, Old Croc was one of many companies that took advantage of the show to strut its latest releases in front of fellow exhibitors and attendees, wowing all of us at Deli Market News with some serious innovation.
I swung by Old Croc’s booth to find out more about the cheesemaker’s newest items, and David Raff, Executive Vice President, was more than happy to give me all the details.
“Today, we’re going to highlight the Classic Cheddar,” David began to share with me on the show floor. “That is our newest version. This Cheddar is mild and creamy. It’s got a buttery flavor. It is a very good deli cheese.”
Because it’s a good deli cheese, Old Croc made sure the Classic Cheddar was good for slicing.
The Classic Cheddar also has a flavor that’s not too bold, making it a perfect complement both to deli items and the other products in Old Croc’s line, including the Grand Reserve, Extra Sharp Cheddar, Sharp Cheddar, and Smoked Cheddar.
“We’ve also developed unique non-GMO spreadable cheddars using our Australian Aged cheddar. We’ve developed Garlic & Herb, Bacon Jalapeño, and Sharp Cheddar,” David continued. “Our products are all from free-grazing cows in Australia. It is grass-fed, non-GMO, and rBST free. Our product is very rich in nutrients and very keto-friendly.”
