Thursday, January 19, will see new shoppers lined up to enter Aurora, Ontario, Canada’s newest grocery store: Farm Boy. Empire Company Limited’s banner chain recently announced the opening of its 46th fresh market location, and it will be a site to behold.
“We have received so much support from our GTA customers and are excited to open a new location in Aurora,” said Shawn Linton, Farm Boy President and General Manager. “Those visiting the new store can enjoy the same fresh market experience Ontarians have come to know with a wide variety of fresh and unique Farm Boy products, along with best-in-class customer service.”
The new Farm Boy store will feature hundreds of Ontario-sourced, fresh dairy, meat, and grocery products; a hot bar, salad bar, and grill station; a wide variety of local farmstead, international, and Canadian cheeses; and more.
Located at 10 Goulding Ave. (Unit 1A) at Wellington St. East, according to a press release, the new 28,200-square-foot store will employ 125 people in the community and illustrate Farm Boy’s 41 years of grocery retail experience and customer service excellence.
