As it continues to expand, Fareway Stores has eyes on its home state. Most recently, the retailer hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the latest store in West Des Moines, Iowa—and it’s just the beginning.
“This is the first of three metro area stores opening this year, and we are excited to continue our growth in conjunction with West Des Moines, as it continues to expand,” said Chief Executive Officer Reynolds W. Cramer. “We are so appreciative of both local and state officials who made this project possible and look forward to serving area residents as their go-to neighborhood grocery store.”
This 21,00-square-foot store has a host of offerings that Fareway shoppers are accustomed to, such as a full-service butcher counter and an impressive grocery selection. This includes fresh-cut produce, healthy varieties, and locally sourced items, a press release explained, in addition to a variety of craft beer, fine wines, and top-shelf spirits.
In addition to the above amenities, Fareway continues to bring value in the form of Fastlanes, its self-service checkout option, and online ordering with curbside pickup available.
We’re excited to see what’s in store for Fareway next, as it’s important to stay up to date on regional retailers.
