In a cardinal move to infuse fresh perspectives into its leadership, dairy cooperative Foremost Farms has welcomed two industry veterans to its Board of Directors. Staci Kring and Andrei Mikhalesvky's appointment as independent board members is a significant step toward enhancing the cooperative's expertise and decision-making capabilities.
Andrei Mikhalesvky joins the board with over eight years of leadership as President and Chief Executive Officer of California Dairies, along with executive roles at Symrise, Georgia Pacific, and Campbell Soup. His experience in developing value-add strategies will be crucial in enhancing processes and products within the cooperative.
Staci Kring brings a wealth of experience, having served as Chief Revenue Officer of Organic Valley for three years and holding progressively responsible positions at Schreiber Foods for over 20 years, including Executive Vice President of Retail Sales. With a strong foundation in operations and engineering, she complements her commercial acumen with degrees in Chemical Engineering and Foods, Nutrition, and Wellness Studies from Kansas State University.
Adding Kring and Mikhalesvky to the Foremost Farms board signifies a commitment to bolster leadership with robust industry knowledge and innovative thinking.
The addition of these seasoned professionals to the board has been met with enthusiasm from Foremost Farms' leadership.
“We are pleased to welcome Staci and Andrei to the Foremost Farms board. Their successful business careers in the dairy and food industries and their experience working with co-ops and farmers align well with our mission to create value for our dairy farm families,” acknowledged Greg Schlafer, President and Chief Executive Officer.
The board's chairman echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the value of diverse perspectives in guiding the cooperative's future.
“I’m looking forward to adding Staci and Andrei to our board. As independent directors, they will bring new perspectives to round out and blend with the experience of the rest of the directors, who are members of the cooperative,” stated Joel Eigenbrood, Chairman of the Board.
