Conagra is an unstoppable force within the prepared foods space, and its brand Gardein® is taking innovation to a new level. Recently debuting its collection of new plant-based options, this marks the brand’s first-ever lineup of soups featuring meat alternatives. The meaty taste is delivered with 100 percent vegan ingredients and are sure to warm shoppers on upcoming cold and wintry nights.

According to a press release, the five flavors in the Gardein Soups collection include:

  • Plant-Based Be'f & Vegetable
  • Plant-Based Saus'ge Gumbo
  • Plant-Based Chick'n & Rice
  • Plant-Based Minestrone & Saus'ge

Each soup is made with real veggies and vegan broth and are also dairy- and egg-free. All five of the soups are Non-GMO Project Verified and Vegan Action Certified. They contain no artificial preservatives or flavors.

The added benefit to plant-based is the effect on the environment, as following a plant-based diet is shown to reduce one’s carbon footprint, as well as ensuring that a company is using less water, land, and energy resources.
