After expanding in Texas earlier this year, Heritage Grocers Group continues to set its eyes on extending its footprint. The Hispanic food retailer and parent company to Cardenas Markets announced that it will be opening a new banner store in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“The Heritage team is excited to expand its presence in the Las Vegas market with the opening of our 58th Cardenas Markets location,” said Doug Sanders, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Grocers Group. “We strive to deliver an exceptional shopping experience where our customers will find a wide assortment of fresh and authentic products reflective of the local community.”
As Sanders noted, the location will be the 58th location for the banner, bringing the parent company’s total store count to 115 locations in six states, a press release explained.
Standing at roughly 40,000 square feet, the new location will include a full-service meat department and bakery to round out the perimeter of the store, as well as an enticing fresh department.
