Hormel Foods is an innovative force to be reckoned with. Just days after launching its new breakfast products, the specialty protein company hit the road with a new strategy to spread the word across the East Coast and in the Midwest. That’s right, Hormel is introducing its new Hormel™ Black Label™ Oven-Baked Egg Bites and Hormel Black Label Breakfast Combos™ breakfast items in the Hormel® Black Label® Breakfast Food Truck.
“Breakfast is often considered the most important meal of the day, and now it’s about to become the best one,” said Nick Schweitzer, Senior Brand Manager. “Our research points to 92 percent of Americans eating breakfast, but they don’t always have the time to cook from scratch or even to sit down at their kitchen tables. Hormel Black Label Oven-Baked Egg Bites and Hormel Black Label Breakfast Combos breakfast items meet those challenges head-on, offering the attributes that make our premium brand a favorite in the United States.”
Consumers are always looking for convenience and flavor. With Hormel, a delicious breakfast is only a few minutes away. According to its press release, the Oven-Baked Egg Bites come in a 4.2 oz microwaveable tray containing two egg bites and are ready to eat in 90 seconds. The product is available at Walmart, Hy-Vee, Jewel, and more throughout the nation in three delicious varieties:
The Breakfast Combo is another convenience item Hormel is rolling out, with both the bacon and sausage variety packaged in a microwaveable plastic tray. At 2.83 ounces for the bacon variety and 4.33 ounces for the sausage variety, consumers can have breakfast ready in 90 seconds.
“Given the variety of options, there is sure to be something for everyone in the family,” Schweitzer said. “Breakfast is fuel for the day, and there is something so comforting about a hot meal.”
To really drive that message home, Hormel will be offering samples in its tour across the East Coast and the Midwest. From September 28 to October 23, as stated in another press release, Hormel will be introducing consumers to its Egg Bites in select retailers in the following markets:
“We’re excited to get people trying the Hormel Black Label Oven-Baked Egg Bites and discovering how tasty and satisfying they are. Once they experience them, we’re sure they’ll fall in love with the flavors and convenience,” commented Schweitzer.
