The start of a new year often inspires people to reinvent themselves—I mean after all, that’s the reason I, myself, got bangs. Giving its products a glow-up, Ithaca hummus has announced it is releasing two of its best-selling flavors with new and improved reformulations.
“We are excited to announce our new and improved Classic and Roasted Red Pepper Ithaca Hummus formulas,” said Chris Kirby, Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “As two of our best-selling flavors, we wanted to go beyond the limits and see where else we could make these flavors even better for our consumers. We landed on adding more tahini for taste and texture, and to reduce acidity while staying true to the bold, delicious flavors Ithaca consumers know and love.”
Never wanting to compromise on flavor, even if it means hitting the drawing board to come up with improvements for already successful products, Ithaca’s reformulated Classic and Roasted Red Pepper hummus will be available at national retailers beginning at the end of January. According to a release, the new formulas use the same cold-press process for the best possible flavor, but with a “tahini bit more sesame.” Gotta appreciate a good snacking pun!
