Lantana Foods Introduces Hummus Flavors; Maggie Carey Details

Hummus, hummus, and more hummus! This is probably what is on the minds of your shoppers as Lantana Foods brings delicious new flavors to the burgeoning category. Introducing three new SKUs, the brand has bolstered its lineup with a portfolio expansion and extended distribution.

“At Lantana, we’re always striving to deliver new and unique flavors for our customers, as well as an unmatched fresh taste and texture that the big hummus brands aren’t able to replicate,” said Maggie Carey, President of U.S. Business at Lantana Foods. “Our new hummus offerings were inspired by trending and traditional foods and flavors, and we expect them to expand consumers’ expectation of what hummus can be.”

The three new flavors are available immediately, making their debut across the Western United States. The lineup is now distributed in new retailers including Albertsons Safeway, Save Mart, Associated Food Stores, and Vons. The three new offerings include:

• Cauliflower Pizza Crust Hummus: Made with white beans, cauliflower, tahini, pizza spices, and herbs, this hummus is topped with traditional marinara and basil sauce
• Dill Pickle Hummus: Combines garbanzo beans with the unmistakable flavor of tangy vinegar mixed with savory dill and topped with dill pickles
• Hatch Chile Hummus: Combines mild white beans with tangy, roasted and diced hatch chiles picked fresh in early fall, offering a delicious smoky yet tangy combination

These creative products join a lineup of other consumer-favorite flavors, such as Black Bean, Carrot Sriracha, Avocado, Edamame, and Dark Chocolate.
