A solid snap is the quintessential characteristic of a shortbread cookie, and Walker’s Shortbread has got that down to the t(eeth). We caught up with the festive provider to take a gander at its seasonal offerings and latest packaging.
“We’re really excited; we’re celebrating 125 years, so we’ve introduced a new logo and new packaging look for all of our festive elements,” Lisa Sherman, Head of Marketing for the United States for Walker’s Shortbread, shared with Deli Market News. “Tartan is key to our brand, and so we wanted to maintain that.”
From the W Snowflakes to Mini Festive Shortbread favorites in different sizes, the new logo and packaging showcase the company’s Scottish roots while highlighting the gifts sealed within.
“We’re really proud to not only be here as a 125-year-old brand but still family-owned, and family-run,” Lisa noted. “Everything is made in Scotland, and the real difference in our shortbread is the fact that it’s all butter, four ingredients, and all-natural.”
The festive shapes are always a crowd-pleaser during the winter season, so prominent displays with festive cheer will surely reel in jolly shoppers.
“From gifting to serving, our tree decorations are going to make great stocking stuffers,” Lisa continued. “Our mince pies are a favorite, so [we’re] offering regular-sized, minis, and different packaging sizes.”
