For MamaMancini’s, marketing has become its focus for growth, and the provider of the prepared foods has tapped an established leader to guide its efforts. Recently, the company appointed Lauren Sella to the newly created role of Chief Marketing Officer, to which she will bring over 16 years of consumer and customer marketing experience.

Sella has a proven track record of achievement in consumer-packaged goods, a release explained. She has driven integrated marketing strategies for an array of prominent brands, including several Mondelēz International brands and General Mills.

Before joining MamaMancini’s, Sella was Chief Marketing Officer of Tate’s Bake Shop—a Mondelēz-owned brand—whose cookies are distributed nationwide. The leader served over 14 years at Mondelēz International in a variety of roles, including Director of Ritz Crackers, and across various confectionary brands.
