Mission Foods is showing off its business prowess with the launch of its latest product. Marrying consumer-loved tortillas with the needs of health-conscious shoppers, the company has unveiled its new Zero Net Carbs Tortillas that have zero net carbs, zero sugar, and are Keto-certified to meet the rising demand for the category.

Juan Gonzalez, Chief Executive Officer, Mission Foods“Shoppers are increasingly seeking foods that are low in carbohydrates and sugar,” said Juan Gonzalez, Chief Executive Officer, Mission Foods. “Mission Foods has once again set the bar by offering healthy products that help consumers meet their nutritional goals with the same great flavors they have come to expect from the brand.”

Mission® Zero Net Carbs tortillas launched this month and will roll out to stores across the United States in the coming months, a release explained. The new tortillas will come in two mouth-watering flavors: Original and Sundried Tomato Basil, packed with zesty sundried tomatoes and fresh basil to pack a tasty punch.

Consumer research presented by Mission Foods in its release shows that more than half of shoppers are searching for foods with less sugar, and more than a third are looking for fewer carbohydrates in the products they consume. Having Keto Certification for Mission Zero Net Carbs products will give consumers confidence when selecting the brand’s offerings.

Sathish Mohanraju, Vice President of Marketing and Trade Marketing, Mission Foods“These new products represent Mission Foods once again rising to meet consumer needs with products that taste great while fitting into consumers’ dietary patterns,” said Sathish Mohanraju, Vice President, Marketing and Trade Marketing. “Someone on a low-carb or Keto diet will still be able to enjoy our delicious tortillas in their favorite wraps, tacos, or snacks without sacrificing flavor.”

As a tortilla fan myself, I cannot wait to get my hands on these new flavors, and I’m sure your shoppers will feel the same way once they see them in the bakery aisle.
