Welcome to Shop Talk. On this episode Tim Masselli, National Account Manager, Mission Foods Deli & Foodservice Division, joins DeliMarketTV to discuss the company's expansion in deli. The company has a new line of products for deli specific products. The new Deli Wrap items come in six varieties and are ten inches in diameter. The item is specific for the deli area of the supermarket. They are different from the company's center store products in that they are deli appropriate. They have a different count, size and look.
The company also has the new Flatbread item that has come on board in four varieties. The Flatbread products are eight inches in diameter. Both products, the Flatbread and Deli Wrap, have seventy-five days, which are ambient shelf stable product that can be refrigerated and frozen.
Mission Foods has also developed a new category of product- the Crispy Flatbread. This item comes in three varieties and is designed for spreads and dips and is also a spin on the flatbread product.
