Answering the question “can you ever have too much of a good thing?” with a resounding “no,” Nathan’s Famous has launched its first-ever footlong hot dog. Encompassing all the traditional aspects of the Nathan’s Famous brand, the new footlong hot dog features a natural casing and the company’s secret spice recipe, giving consumers all that they love about Nathan’s Famous hot dogs in larger proportion.
"Indulgence isn’t a bad thing, especially when it comes to a Nathan’s Famous hot dog,” states James Walker, Senior Vice President, Restaurants. “Whether you like it plain, or with just a little Nathan’s Famous mustard, or you go all out with our world-famous chili cheese dog, a Nathan’s Famous hot dog is certainly a treat. We figured, especially given the year we’ve all had, why not double down on that indulgence and offer twice the taste, because sometimes size does matter.”
The new footlong hot dog was launched exclusively on the Nathan’s online store in April, according to a press release. However, the exciting new product became available at participating retailers nationwide earlier this month.
Fans of Nathan’s Famous can choose from three hot dog kits when stocking up on the new footlong offering, including the Footlong Chilli Cheese Lovers kit, featuring 24 footlong hot dogs with buns, chili and cheddar cheese sauce, and French fries. Additionally, consumers can select the Footlong Hot Dog Meal Kit which includes footlong hot dogs and buns, sauerkraut, and french fries, available in quantities of 12 or 24.
