Cooking at home has given consumers a new outlet to explore and become creative. Alas, there are nights where even I don’t know what to make. Tyson® is stepping up to the dinner table by adding new flavors to several lineups to ease cooking fatigue, all of which are protein-packed, mouthwatering meals that offer a made-from-scratch taste without all of the effort.
“Families everywhere are looking for their next great-tasting dinner solution,” said Steve Silzer, Senior Marketing Director for Tyson Brand. “It was important for us to offer our new varieties of fresh meal shortcuts to cut down on the time spent chopping and stirring so families can spend more time together at the table enjoying comfort food classics.”
According to the press release, cooking and preparing meals from home has increased 67 percent since COVID-19 began. After months of home-cooked meals, families are turning to prepared foods and easy prep meals as a way to save time and spice up their nightly dinner menus.
In addition, the release stated 60 percent of home cooks report they rely on an Instant Pot® or similar appliances for their cooking routine for the simplicity, versatility, and convenience of making flavorful meals with less cleanup.
Tyson’s new flavors to help ease dinner prep include additions to several lineups such as Tyson Instant Pot Kits, Tyson Instant Pot Seasoned Proteins, and Tyson Oven Ready Family Size Kits.
