Castleray subsidiary Nick's Sticks is adding an intriguing new offering to its portfolio. As plant-based demand continues to climb, the company has announced the debut of a beef stick that includes high-quality, extremely beneficial pea protein.
"We are excited we were able to create a meat snack stick that is 30 percent plant-based to appeal to the 70 percent of consumers who are looking for more plant protein in their diet," stated company President Mark Vieth. "With our new Beef Sticks with Pea Protein, our customers can still get all of the protein they are looking for, while consuming less beef, in a snack stick that tastes as good as our original."
Also increasing in market patterns is the “flexitarian” movement—not entirely plant-based or animal product-free, but open to, and even in search of, alternatives that offer a happy balance. Nick's Sticks newest product achieves this balance by introducing a snack made with 30 percent pea protein and 100-percent grass-fed beef to achieve the premium quality and flavor that consumers have come to expect from the brand.
According to a press release, pea protein is a high-quality protein that is rich in iron and amino acids and can promote improved muscle growth, feelings of fullness, and heart health.
Additionally, Nick's beef sticks with pea protein appeal to those seeking a snacking item that is 100 percent gluten free, with no nitrates, nitrites, antibiotics, hormones, sugar, or soy.
Whole 30-approved to boot, Nick's Sticks' latest debut is something any retailer can offer any consumer.
