Norseland's Soignon Brand Debuts New Product

SAN FRANCISCO, CA
Wednesday, February 26th, 2020

Even though the Winter Fancy Food Show 2020 is firmly in our rearview mirror, Norseland’s Soignon brand is making sure there’s still innovation on the horizon of our industry. One way the brand is doing this is by releasing a new Whipped goat cheese product.

I chatted with Etienne Roumier, President of Couturier, North America, to find out more about Soignon’s newest product debut and how this product builds off of an iconic dairy legacy.

Etienne Roumier, President, Couturier, North America“Soignon started in 1895 in Western France when 80 farmers started working together,” Etienne began, taking me back to Soignon’s inception over 125 years ago. Since those early days, Soignon has expanded its product line and operations beyond the scenic coastline, top-notch vineyards, and fairytale towns of Western France—evident in its latest product debut.

“[The Whipped cheese product] is based on 50 years of experience with goat cheese and French heritage,” Etienne continued. “Soignon is very innovative in goat cheese, and the new innovation is the Whipped. The texture is very light, very creamy, very fresh when you taste it.”

Soignon unveiled a new Whipped product made with 100-percent goat milk and available in two flavors

The new Whipped product—made with 100-percent goat milk from Soignon’s farmers—is available in two, clean flavors: Garlic & Herb and Plain.
