Three cheers for Johnny Basha of The Raley’s Companies as he takes on his newest role! As the retailer continues to bolster its growth strategy, it has named the leader as Senior Vice President, Real Estate Strategy and Management for the company, expanding his role to now include the complete portfolio of enterprise real estate assets.

Basha is a member of the Basha family who has played a pivotal part in expanding Bashas’, AJ’s Fine Foods, Bashas’ Dine’, and Food City across Arizona and New Mexico alongside local developers and officials.
As noted in a release, in his new role, Basha will manage the real estate strategy for all divisions under The Raley’s Companies, including Raley’s and Bashas’, covering Arizona, New Mexico, California, and Nevada.
Recently, The Raley’s Companies has invested in dozens of remodels in Arizona, California, and Nevada, as well as in the Navajo Nation in Ship Rock and Kayenta. The company plans to accelerate the pace in the next few years.

In addition to his role in real estate, Basha has represented the family and company in the longstanding relationship with the Navajo Nation and supported its relationships with the San Carlos Apache, White Mountain Apache, and Tohono O’odham Nations. He is well respected across all our tribal partners and continues to advance mutually beneficial partnerships.
