New flavors, new lines, and a new look were the topic of discussion as the Deli Market News team recently sat down with Saputo Cheese USA’s Director of Marketing Jenny Englert to discuss the company’s latest portfolio innovations.
“We have some new exciting things from our Montchevre cheese brand,” Jenny began, exploring some of the company’s newest offerings. “A couple of our new items are Duos—a two-in-one flavor combo. It's a blueberry lemonade and then a Mediterranean spicy inspired flavor.”
Jenny also took a moment to spotlight Saputo’s topped goat cheese lineup.
“We launched a brand new line that has all of your jams and sauces on top that cascades down over the goat cheese,” she shared. “It's really nice for boards, to just flip it over, halve it, and serve it with crackers.”
One new flavor jumping in on this trend is the new Thai Sweet Chili, which is sure to draw consumers in with its unique flavor.
Saputo is also riding the momentum of a recent rebrand, Jenny shared.
“Last year, we rebranded our Treasure Cave Blue Cheese,” she added. “America's original Cave Age blue cheese really brought in the heritage of that brand and did a complete new packaging refresh as well as the national marketing campaign, inviting people to embrace the Cave and to try blue cheese and bring them in.”
