Recently bringing exact weight wedges to market, Shaft’s Cheese & Co is bringing this offering to Raley’s. Over the last five years, Shaft’s has been strategically expanding its retail presence, and this expansion is a recent highlight of its plans.
“We are really excited for this opportunity. Raley’s has always been a staple within our community, and being able to have our product in their stores means we can expand our reach and accessibility to many more customers,” commented John Gibson, the Owner of the Roseville, California-based company.
The one-year aged blue and Serendipity cheeses will be available in exact weight wedges across Raley’s network. The cheeses come in a pack of 12, 6 oz wedges that can easily be received and immediately put into the stores for buyers. With Raley’s having over 129 grocery store locations, this move brings Shaft’s Cheese & Co’s products to a variety of new shoppers.
According to a press release, this helps the cheesemaker achieve its goal of making its cheeses even more accessible to many different communities across northern California.
“One of our biggest goals over at Shaft’s has always been making things as easy as possible for grocers and consumers alike. We have been able to do that with our release of exact weight wedges, and we couldn’t be happier to sell in Raley’s grocery stores and reach even more of our community,” Andrea Whitfield, Marketing Director, noted.
Retail partners will be happy to know that Shaft’s is always working to make distribution as seamless as possible. The company has simplified the distribution process by eliminating weighing and prepping processes for grocers, which makes the cheese ready to receive and distribute faster and more efficiently.
With a company mission of bringing the community together through cheese, this expansion is a surefire win for Shaft’s Cheese & Co.
