The new year is here, and shoppers’ resolutions are driving a heightened focus on healthy eating and fresh food. To help consumers check off their health-forward goals this year, Sprouts Farmers Market has tapped author Candice Kumai to host a series of Facebook live streams to inspire healthy eating habits all month long.
“Feeling better and leading a healthier life can begin simply by incorporating delicious, nutrient-rich foods into your everyday meals,” said Kumai, who has been named “The Golden Girl of Wellness” by ELLE and Forbes. “My recipes and practical tips are informed by the ancient, time-proven rituals of my Japanese culture, and I can’t wait to share my knowledge to help viewers nourish their mind, body, and spirit.”
Kumai will bring her dynamic skillset as a classically trained chef and food editor to the series, which will go live every Thursday this month at 2 p.m. PST, according to a press release. The unique digital series will uncover timely tips to help shoppers utilize fresh, healthy, and seasonal solutions at home. Those in attendance will have the chance to win prize bundles, including copies of Kumai’s latest book, Kintsugi Wellness, and Sprouts gift cards.
