This just in! Sprouts Farmers Market has opened the doors of a new location in Deli Market News’ own backyard: Stockton, California. The retailer held a ribbon cutting last Friday, March 10.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome Sprouts Farmers Market to Stockton,” said Kevin J. Lincoln, II, Mayor of Stockton. “In addition to providing fresh, healthy, and specialty foods to our residents, Sprouts also brings 100 jobs to our community, playing a vital role in our vision of Stockton becoming the best city in America to live, raise a family, and grow a business.”
In celebration of the new store, located at 5308 Pacific Avenue, Suite #1040, Sprouts hosted a variety of activities. According to a release, this included providing guests with samples from innovative brands at the Vendor Village and giving the first 200 shoppers goodie bags filled with special products and samples.
Guests also got to partake in a large interactive and educational experience area, where they had a chance to taste seasonal fruit, play games, and more.
The community can look forward to seeing locally produced products on the shelves, which will have blue tags highlighting them as local.
