Though marshmallows make me nostalgic for summer twilights from my childhood, Stuffed Puffs® is proving that the treat can be—and should be—elevated to fit right into any decadent charcuterie or dessert board, especially with its newest flavor. Unveiled this month, the new Chocolate-on-Chocolate product is a delicious cocoa marshmallow filled with real milk chocolate.
“Stuffed Puffs was born around the campfire and for good reason,” said CEO and Founder Michael Tierney, who graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and first started Stuffed Puffs by launching the company’s original Classic Milk Chocolate filled marshmallow last summer. “It’s taken the country by storm, and we are so excited to offer Chocolate-on-Chocolate to make an old-fashioned American favorite even better.”
According to a press release, Stuffed Puffs has developed its own proprietary technology and manufacturing processes that ingeniously solves the time-old s’mores problem by putting the chocolate inside the marshmallow so the chocolate melts while the marshmallow toasts, giving consumers the perfect s’more every time. For this reason the company lauds its product as amazingly tasty, fail proof, eminently shareable, and the textbook definition of making good things better.
Stuffed Puffs opened its first manufacturing facility in 2019. However, because demand has only continued to climb for the innovative dessert offering, the company is in the process of building a new 150,000-square-foot plant that will open this year.
