SuckerPunch Gourmet Kicks Off New Year With Rebrand

If you’ve ever made a drastic change to your look, you know how much attention it can bring. This is no different for the companies responsible for the delicious products that adorn store shelves. SuckerPunch Gourmet, popular for its flavor-packed pickle products, recently announced some big changes to its logo and packaging across its entire brand portfolio.

Alok Advani, Chief Executive Officer, SuckerPunch Gourmet“Our entire portfolio, but especially our signature spiced pickles, is really different than anything else that’s on shelves, and while it served us well for years, our former packaging just wasn’t quite right for us anymore given who we are now and where we want to go in the future,” said CEO Alok Advani. “We’re very excited to debut a new look this year that better portrays our brand and product line, but still maintains the familiar elements of our identity that our consumers know and love.”

The redesign, which will be rolling out early this year, was designed to be a fresh, modernized take on the company’s previous logo. The new design is an effort to represent the brand’s unique identity and the bold flavors found in its premium pickles, a press release revealed.

This rebranding includes the softening and re-illustration of the company’s iconic boxer emblem, as well as a brand block on the front of each product, which uses bold colors to help shoppers identify their favorite flavor varieties without spending too much time in the aisle. The new packaging also features a pickle chip icon that advertises the 11 delicious spices incorporated into the savory pickle products, a Non-GMO Project Verified logo, and a back panel modeled after a vintage boxing poster, the press release noted. SuckerPunch Gourmet’s packaging has been revamped all the way down–or should I say up–to the lid, which reminds consumers about the amazing “knockout flavor” within the jar they are about to open.

Whether they’re reaching for some delicious pickle juice, Bloody Mary mix, or a crispy, flavor-packed pickle, SuckerPunch’s new design is sure to be a hit among consumers. Keep clicking on Deli Market News as more and more companies initiate changes to get a leg up on the competition.
