An excellent Cheddar is not hard to come by when you have Trugman-Nash in your back pocket. The owners of Old Croc Cheese boast a wide portfolio of slicing, snacking, and spreading products that make for one bustling specialty department.
“Old Croc Cheese is a full line of premium Cheddars. We've got sharp, extra sharp, and we have the grand reserve, which is a two-year-old-plus aged Cheddar,” David Raff, Executive Vice President, shared with Deli Market News in an exclusive interview earlier in 2023.
The company’s Australian Cheddar is the product of free-grazing, grass-fed cows. The cheese is then brought to the United States to be aged, as David explained.
Old Croc’s spreadable Cheddars, on the other hand, are made with the maker’s aged Australian Cheddar, bringing forth bold flavors such as Port Wine, Sharp, and Bacon Jalapeño.
“We're also pushing the snacking cheese, the Croc Bites, which are the individual snacking cheese—a great grab-and-go product,” David added. “And it is a real big flavor, big bold flavor unlike any other company that is showing in snacking cheese right now.”
