No matter where you looked at this year’s Winter Fancy Food Show, innovation abounded. It was nearly impossible to take in all the sights, what with company’s like unearthed® stepping into the specialty foods spotlight and momentarily blinding me with tasty flavors and new products. I spoke with Josh Higginson, Vice President, to learn more about what the brand had to offer.
“Here at unearthed, we’re all about discovering a world of flavor,” Josh began. “We’ve got the egg and potato omelet, a traditional Spanish tortilla. It’s a good source of protein, it’s gluten free, ready-to-eat, and a very clean label. It’s made with only five ingredients. It comes in two formats, round and a wedge. Just stick it in the microwave for two minutes, and it’s good to go.”
The sheer convenience of the offering is sure to get consumers excited and retailers should take note. With convenient breakfast options trending, you’ll want to stock up on these omelets.
unearthed was also showcasing a few of its other offerings, including the Pastel de Nata—a famous Portuguese custard tart—and its charcuterie offerings, Jamón Ibérico and the Jamón Serrano.
