Jelly Belly Candy Company has launched Organic Jelly Beans in 10 assorted and five sour flavors, and Organic Fruit Flavored Snacks.
The 10-flavor assorted mix consist of Apple, Berry, Blueberry, Cherry Coconut, Lemon, Orange, Peach, Pear and Strawberry, and the sour varieties include Apple, Cherry, Lemon, Orange and Berry. As for the fruit snacks, they are available in bags with a mix of six flavors including Strawberry, Berry, Lemon, Apple, Orange and Cherry.
“Consumers are interested in a wide variety of organic food products,” said Rob Swaigen, VP of Global Marketing. “The organic category has steadily grown for the last decade, and we are excited to meet this growing demand with organic gourmet confections and snacks.”
This new line is USDA-certified organic and began hitting store shelves this winter. According to the company, all of the ingredients are organic and they are made with non-GMO ingredients with flavors and colors from a natural source.
These new organics are also free from gelatin, glutin, fat and dairy, marking a first for the company.
