Snyder's Expands Several Product Lines and Introduces New Snack Items

Snyder’s-Lance Inc has announced a multitude of new snack products debuting across several of its snack brand lines in 2016. The company says that these expansions are due, in part, to its recent acquisition of Diamond Foods. 

“Whether it's enjoying snacks with friends or during a road trip with the family, we believe these new, quality snacks from Snyder's-Lance can enhance those moments and make them even better," said Rod Troni, Chief Marketing Officer at Snyder's-Lance, in a press release.

Snyder’s of Hanover® is expanding its Sweet and Salty Pretzels line with the following items:

• New S’mores creation
• Hanover Filled Pretzels adding a peanut butter filling
• New 50 Percent Less Fat Pretzel Pieces in Zesty Ranch and Everything flavors

Lance®, the company’s gluten-free snack provider, has these plans in store:

• Addition of peanut-butter filled gluten-free cookie
• New Lemon Crème Nekot cookie

Kettle-cooked potato chip line, Cape Cod®, is extending its Limited Batch line with:

• Roasted Black Garlic
• Smoked Gouda

Snack Factory® will broaden its gluten-free Pretzel Crisps ® line with these items:

• Larger, deli-style Pretzel Crisps
• New Tortilla Chips in sea salt, and garlic hummus flavors
• New Pita Chips with flavors of sea salt, and garlic parmesan
• Limited summer release of Bacon Habanero Pretzel Crisps®

Late July Snacks has announced two new flavors to its Clásico Tortilla Chip line

• Buffalo Queso
• Sriracha Fresca

Eatsmart Snacks® has two new flavors planned for its Three Bean Tortilla Chip line:

• Garlic Hummus
• Spicy Black Bean

Archway Cookies® is introducing Gluten-Free Cookie Chips in the following varities:

• Chocolate Chip
• Sugar Cookies
• Mini Salted Caramel Shortbread

The company’s Italian snack and cookie line, Stella D’oro® also has one expansion planned with its Lemon Starlets.

The company says that its line expansions and innovations are part of an ongoing plan to offer healthy snacking options to its consumers. “We're making great progress, and as of March 2016, nearly 30 percent of our products are considered better-for-you snacks," said Peter L. Michaud, Division President of the Clearview Foods^TM Division.

Snyder-Lance’s new products are available on store-shelves now.
